We are thrilled to present the DARE 4.0 Mobile App Development Competition, an avenue for innovation and creativity to address critical social issues through cutting-edge digital solutions.
The primary aim of the DARE 4.0 mobile Application Development Competition is to harness the power of technology and creativity to tackle pressing social challenges. Participants will collaborate with experts to propose innovative solutions that contribute to positive social change.
About the Project:
DARE 4.0 project aims to equip 1500 young people (18-30), young entrepreneurs and youth workers in Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Lebanon, Tunisia and Morocco with skills and competencies to accelerate the digital transformation of the economy and society.
It aims to enhance intercultural dialogue, and foster diversity and innovation while bridging the digital divide, promoting inclusion and participation. The project aims to foster the development of interpersonal and intercultural skills, including critical and analytical thinking, creativity and learning.
Competition Overview:
- Participants: Passionate individuals and teams keen on mobile application development.
- Theme: digital literacy, job creation, networking…
- Guidelines: Develop mobile applications demonstrating creativity, functionality, and a clear social impact.
- Selection Process: Entries will be evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, scalability, sustainability, and alignment with the competition theme.
Competition Objectives:
- Empower youth to create mobile apps for current and common problems through transnational exchange projects.
- Give young people the opportunity to learn with and from peers across cultural contexts and national boundaries in facilitated online meetings.

Eligibility:
- Resident in one of these countries: Morocco, Tunisia, The Netherlands, Lebanon, Italy or Sweden.
- Anyone 18 years of age or older with an interest in mobile app development and a desire to tackle social issues is encouraged to apply. Students, developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and anyone with a great idea are welcome.
- Be familiar with the main programming languages and tools (flutter, Android Studio, GIT) and teamwork platforms (Slack, Zoom, Google Drive).
By participating in this competition, you will not only work in dynamic groups and contribute actively to innovating a new mobile application solution for your chosen social problem but also benefit from the incubation and development of your solution with the support of experts in the field.
