Communication is considered to be such a crucial medium through which conflicts can be handled once they arise out of nowhere. As leaders we need to bear in mind that the way we convey the message matters more than the content does. That is to say, we may have fabulous ideas but the point always lies in how we should transmit it clearly to the audience without having any sort of vagueness.

In many contexts, freedom of expression is merely an illusion, if not openly repressed. The media tend to make non-conforming opinions less visible, and with the ever-growing spread of fake news, influences and manipulations are becoming stronger, putting individual freedoms and democracy at risk. With this theme, we aim to reflect (and plan new initiatives) to encourage young people to claim their right to freedom of expression and to exercise critical thinking. To this end, we will suggest the use of specific tools that can support this process: podcasting, shadow theater, graffiti & music and others.
